Artist's Comments

This is the other picture I made for *Heterodyning's contest. Again, I apologize for the colors. I'm minus both scanner and photoshop at the moment. At least my camera's decent.

This is my interpretation of the Sforza sisters. I'm afraid I made Victoria too pretty in comparison to Alexandra. Alexandra my dear, I didn't mean to belittle your charms!

Thanks! That's quite the complement. It's hard, drawing characters that are also real people. I've been so afraid that I'd gotten you both...wrong, somehow. But while I have no idea if the likeness is good, I hope I've captured something of your spirit.

But not literally, 'cause that would be mean.

Um...sorry? I really like the motion, the characterization through gesture, in your drawings of them. I prefer my coloring (in person, I need to get my scanner fixed!), but I'm partial to colored pencils.

Oh, don't worry about it! I love your versions; I wish I could've used traditional colouring methods. You deserve to win! I'm not going to begrudge you your talent.

I kinda hope that someone much better than either of us will show up with an entry, because it would be fun to see some *brilliant* interpretation of the characters.
